Accredifire's objective is to develop and deliver training to the Passive Fire Protection or Fire and Smoke Containment industry sub sector.

Training will be developed and provided for all areas of passive fire protection including design, installation, inspection, testing and maintenance.

Accredifire will encompass, but not be limited to, the following categories of passive fire protection:

Fire doors Fire proofing of structural steel Fire rated / smoke exhaust ductwork Fire rated walls, ceilings, floors and grooves Smoke walls Fire rated roller shutters Smoke doors Fire dampers

Smoke dampers Smoke and heat venting systems Fire collars Service penetrations and control joints Fire retardant coatings Wall & ceiling linings Floor coverings
